Low Back Pain

Hey! It’s Dr. Brad Meylor here with Meylor Family Chiropractic located here in Gretna, Nebraska.

Today, we just want to talk about low back pain. Did you know that the research shows that back pain patients are the most satisfied with chiropractic care as opposed to medical care? In our office, we specialize in spinal complaints, and a major spinal complaint that a lot of people have is back pain. Whether it’s acute, severe back pain or chronic, reoccurring back pain. We can help both kinds of back pain. We just want to let you know about how we handle it in our office.

First thing you do is you give us a call (402)715-4242. Teresa, who is amazing, will answer your phone call and can help you set up your very first appointment. We always do consultations at no charge. At the office you’ll fill out a little paperwork. If you have insurance, we’ll check on that for you and we’ll let you know what your coverage is before we do anything. Also, if you don't have insurance, that's okay; We offer a very affordable cash plans for our patients. Our no insurance plans are extremely affordable. We make it work with everyone.

Then you and I will  sit down and we’ll do what's called a consultation, where I take a detailed history. We figure the history of your problem, how long you've had it for, and I’ll ask any related questions. Then after that, if it sounds like a case that we can help, we will do an exam to figure out your problem. Often times we'll take an x-ray. That way we can tell you exactly what's causing your issue and let you know what we can do to correct it.

With an exam and X-rays we’ll be able to answer how long it'll take and answer any questions that you might have. On your first visit we will also give you a gentle relief treatment.
