My Chiropractic Story

Hey Gretna, it's Dr. Brad Meylor With Meylor Family Chiropractic, and I hope you're doing awesome. Today, I just wanted to tell you a little bit about my chiropractic story. Did you know that I come from a multi-generational chiropractic family? In fact, we're one of the world's largest chiropractic families with over 44 chiropractors. Here's the story: it all started almost a hundred years ago after my grandpa was born. My grandpa, Paul Meylor, was born in Northwest Iowa with significant health issues. Shortly after he was born, medical doctors said he had torticollis and was failing to thrive. It was clear that he had some sort of issue going on with his neck. He wasn't eating well, he was constantly, visibly in pain. This, of course, resulted in an extremely colicky baby. My great-grandparents didn't know what to do and were worried about the health and wellness of their child.

My great-grandparents just happened to live near a chiropractor named Dr. Hobson. This chiropractor was able to help my grandfather get over his health struggles as a baby. And my grandpa ended up living until old age. Because of the impact chiropractic had on my great-grandparents family, they ended up having two sons, a daughter, and her husband that all became chiropractors, and that was the start of the first generation of chiropractors in my family.

The next generation of chiropractors also had many children that became chiropractors as well. My dad is still a practicing chiropractor in my hometown of Le Mars, Iowa. https://meylorchiropractic.com/ He loves his job so much that he says he's never going to retire, and I feel the same way. You could literally say that chiropractic is in my blood. Also, did you know that my wife is a chiropractor? Her office is Aligned Health and Wellness on 168th and Maple. https://www.alignedhw.com/

I can honestly say that I love my job and the best part is helping wonderful people get out of pain and regain their health. Well, that's my chiropractic story and I'm proud of it. As always, please let me know if there's ever anything I can do for you. And please, share this info with anyone that might be interested. Have an awesome day! :)
